Bio:
The name Shawn Flarida has become synonymous with reining over the years. As the NRHA’s all-time, leading money earner and the first rider ever to surpass $5 million in earnings, he’s solidified his spot at the top of the sport. His success spans the globe with prestigious wins at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress, National Reining Breeders Classic, NRHA Open Futurity, World Reining Trophy and the World Equestrian Games.
He shares the limelight with a long list of amazing equine partners like Wimpys Little Step, Smart Spook, KR Lil Conquistador, Walla Walla Whiz, Spooks Gotta Whiz, Quistador, Wimpys Little Chic, RC Fancy Step and Gunnatrashya to name a few. Shawn is known within the reining community for his humble nature and incredible work ethic and, after more than 25 years as a professional, this Ohio based horseman retains his love of the sport.
